My Personal Reflections, Thoughts and Experience in Xavier University School of Medicine, Bonaire
I am Adeoya Ayodeji Olatunde, MD 5 student of Xavier University School of Medicine, Bonaire. I did my basic medical sciences in Nigeria before I was told by my friends about XUSOM Bonaire. And ever since my arrival to this great and progressive school of medicine, it has been from one level of enlightenment to another, vis –a –vis medically in particular and life in general.
XUSOM, Bonaire is a splendid and exciting institution and yet to me that will be an understatement. I am sincerely and genuinely delighted that I made the right choice by coming here to pursue my medical career.
It will be noteworthy to say that, from the serene milieu of Bonaire, which is conducive but more importantly, imperative for knowledge accumulation without distractions, to what I chose to call the "hallowed medical sanctuary" named XUSOM, Bonaire, with a program perfectly-designed to implant and expand your mental data base as regards medical education, your ego will be pumped by knowledge yet humbled by the discipline and experience of the Professors.
The Professors are friendly, disciplined, brilliant and highly-motivated. They are always ever -ready to transmit their experience and motivations with love and discipline. They are accessible and approachable, persistently and consistently training you, with keen interest in your capabilities, till the confidence that comes with medical knowledge and understanding is established in you. Permit me to say that, they will create an information pool in you and they won't stop there, they will make sure it overflows from your mind till you have it at your fingertips; consequently you will be able to recall a large volume of medical information per time in a reflex-like manner, sequel to understanding and purposeful repetition. At this stage, you will finally come to term with the fact that, you are on your way to becoming an efficient and effective 21st century medical doctor, in any part of the world. I therefore with humility and privilege, recommend XUSOM, Bonaire, to all who are purpose-driven and in need of thorough medical education with a balanced social life. Come and achieve your dream.
